FAQ's

Question: Do I have to ride my bike the whole 32 miles?
Answer: Nope! You can ride DART Rail part way, or, drive the entire route, too. We're just trying to promote a healthy and green event by using people power! We'll have a "sag wagon" for those who become weary and there are several stops along the way, too so it's not a straight 32 mile "race".  What's important, is that you come out, check out your very own neighborhood community gardens and small urban farms, help support a great youth gardening program and most of all - have FUN!

Question: I'm a vegetarian. Will there be something for me to eat, too?
Answer:
YES! We abide by an almost exclusively organic, and vegetarian menu! Concessions during the film may include omnivore choices.

Question: Do we have to wear a helmet?
Answer:
This is one for the lawyers, but there is a helmet ordinance in Dallas. We HIGHLY suggest one since we're riding an open road "course".

Question: How do we get back home after the ride/dinner/movie?
Answer:
If someone isn't meeting you at the end of the ride, you should be able to get back home via DART. The DART RAIL Buckner Greenline station is a short 5 miles from Eden's Garden CSA Farm. We will have a shuttle to take riders there if they don't want to ride. The White Rock Station isn't far from the start point, but you can also park at the station.

Question: We're supposed to carry all of that food on our bikes back to the farm?
Answer:
If you don't have a backpack or feel comfortable doing this, we can get the food back to the farm for you. There will be a cooler at each stop for produce you "pick".
